Dear colleagues!

We invite you to participate in the scientific workshop for the young scientists  "Textual heritage and modern information technologies" devoted to the research of the electronic tools of the ancient and medieval textual heritage holding, describing, processing, analysis and publication, and also it is devoted to problems of the preparation of humanitarian electronic resources and their using in the scientific researches and teaching. The workshop managers invite everybody who learns theoretical and practical problems in this field, - researchers, teachers of colleges and higher institutions, officials of libraries, museums, archives, software and Internet humanitarian resources programmers, students and graduate students.

The workshop has traditions and items of the previous workshops (held in Izhevsk and Kazan in 2006 and 2008 - El'Manuscript-06, El'Manuscript-08) and develops them. The workshop program includes the study of technologies of the preparation for electronic humanitarian resources, the study of formats of the meta- and analytical handwritten and early printed books description, study the program products of the basic workshop projects at lectures and practical trainings of scientists and ingineers from Russia, Bulgaria, Germany, UK, France, USA, Canada, etc. At the workshop lectures devoted to the format of encoding of electronic textual resources of the concortium Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) will be continued.
