The
digitization of historical documents and photographs kept in the Bulgarian Historical
Archives at the SS. Cyril and Methodius National Library is an important
process, begun relatively recently. The organization, the progress and the consequence
of this initiative are presented from two complementary points of view—from a
direct participant in the digitization and from a user of the digital library.
