This paper is devoted
to the study of certain regional features of 15th-century Russian official
documents. The author examines the usage of the verb forms arising from the
stem bud- in official documents
of Moscow and Novgorod, identifies several dialect differences between them and
suggests that some regional parameters should be introduced in the
historic-text subset base of the Russian National Corpus, providing access to
the study of local features from the history of the Russian Language.
