The Laboratory of Historical Information Science at Perm State University has developed a number of history-oriented information systems: Russian Members of Parliament in the Beginning of the 20th Century (grant HRSF № 03-01-12012 V), Zemstvo Journals as a Source for Studying Local Self-Government in Russia (second half of 19th to the beginning of 20th centuries) (grant RFBR № 04-07-90283-v), and Source-Study Analysis of the Newspaper "Perm Provincial Sheets" (second half of 19th to the beginning of 20th centuries) using Digital Technology (grant HRSF № 05-01-82102 a/u). The Labrotory is currently working on the following: The Newspaper “Perm provincial sheets” (1838-1844): Problems of Source-Study Research and Historical and Cultural Heritage Preservation (grant HRSF № 08-01-82101 a/u) and State Duma Stenograms (1906-1917) (grant HRSF № 08-01-12108v). Information systems allow us to preserve historical and cultural heritage and also to investigate different aspects of Russian history. <!--[if !supportFootnotes]-->
