The paper focuses on
context searching of New Testament idioms in the Russian National Corpus, both
in its main and poetry corpora, considering factors of query formation during
lexico-grammatical searching, such as distance between idiom components,
negative distance between components, and grammatical features of word forms.
It is found that searching in the poetry corpus requires use of more factors
because of particularities of the structure of both idioms and poetic text.
